Hydrobricks is an assemblage workshop about water irrigation systems using prefabricated ceramic elements, conceived for Mayrit Bienal 2022 in collaboration with Laia Amigó Ayats. Participants explored historical and contemporary methods of water collection, channeling, and storage across architecture, agriculture, and other disciplines before prototyping alternative systems using an assortment of Cumella ceramics. The workshop culminated in a dynamic collective installation that reexamined the ways we interact with water.
