CHB Arts is the annual festival of Château de la Haute Borde, and together with Pedro Serrano we designed and produced the set and stage design for the second edition. In the forest surrounding the château, fallen trees are traditionally cut into slabs and trunks for woodfires, stored in stacks, and protected by plastic sheets from the rain. Inspired by this practice, a DJ booth, bar, and seating area were installed.

Each element reinterprets the outdoor wood-stacking method, reorganizing the material to define spatial functions. The top boards were waterproofed with plastic to create clean, smooth surfaces, merging utility with a raw aesthetic.
