Ací fem Atovons is a design research project exploring the brick industry in Valencia’s Horta Nord. The first exhibition examines the transformation of clay through sculptural and visual pieces, tracing its journey from extraction to manufacturing and construction within this specific territory. Hosted in the former public schools of Foios, the exhibition finds its setting within a ceramic-clad façade that serves as the architectural vessel for the work.

Curated by Neus Carceller and Pablo Bolumar, the exhibition weaves together diverse contributions: Francesc Planes’ analog photography captures the essence of the industry, Vicent Orts reimagines discarded bricks, Fes Bondat infuses factory rhythms into the space, and Pablo Bolumar extends the exhibition into the public realm through the public installation Fumeral Bench. A cohesive graphic identity by Shuang Xu ties the project together. Ací fem Atovons is supported by Ajuntament de Foios.
